White Rocks North Coast

This is a beautiful beach running for miles round to portrush. It gets its name from the chalk rocks forming pretty archways and cliff faces. This beach is popular for surfing and in the summer there are life guards on site. The Ocean Warriors set up their mobile water sports hire shop at weekends. Currents can be strong in winter so always ask locally before swimming or surfing. In this picture you can see Donegal in the distance and closer is the famous Royal Portrush Links course.
To get to this beach you can either walk along he shore from Portrush or on the coast road heading into portrush there is a signposted narrow road leading down to a carpark with washroom facilities.
